Origin and Character
This White Peony comes from one of Zhenghe County’s established white tea areas, where mountain slopes, forest cover and a cool spring climate encourage steady leaf development.
The generous bud-and-leaf material gives the tea more body and texture than a bud-focused white tea. It remains graceful and clear, but carries a rounded sweetness and a more substantial presence through repeated infusions.

✦ The Astraluna Perspective ✦
Bai Mu Dan sits in a beautiful middle ground: delicate enough to feel graceful, yet substantial enough to reward a longer, slower session. Its balance of bud and leaf gives the cup both lift and depth, making it a tea for moments when you want clarity without austerity. We return to it for the way it brings structure and softness together, a quiet reminder that refinement does not have to mean fragility.
