Origin and Character

Jin Xuan is known for a naturally rounded texture that can suggest cream or warm milk when the leaf is carefully grown and processed. The rolled leaves open gradually across the session, revealing whole, supple material.

Floral high notes appear first, followed by sweet cream, butter, sugarcane and soft vanilla. A gentle garden freshness keeps the cup balanced rather than heavy.

Aroma and Flavour

Liquor Pale golden amber with excellent clarity
Flavour Cream, sweet butter, sugarcane, orchid and gentle garden greens
Mouthfeel Silky, rounded and naturally creamy
Finish Long, honeyed and softly floral

✦ The Astraluna Perspective ✦

Jin Xuan is a lesson in texture. Its natural creaminess does not come from added flavour, but from cultivar, growing conditions and careful processing working together. We chose this tea for the ease with which it creates a sense of comfort while remaining fresh and floral. As the rolled leaves open, the session becomes a gentle unfolding, inviting you to notice how softness can still carry clarity and definition.
